This series describes 1500 species of wild and common cultivated vascular plants in Macao, and consists of three volumes. It contains precise descriptions of every family and genus of plant, with keys to genera and species for the convenience of readers. There are detailed introductions to the characteristics, localities, habitat, geographical distribution and use for each species, as well as coloured photographs.

Volume I covers 111 families, 282 genera, 446 species, 4 subspecies, 26 variations, 1 form and 10 cultivars, with 889 coloured photographs.

Volume II covers 63 families, 396 genera, 594 species, 3 subspecies, 17 variations, 3 forms and 25 cultivars, with 1,225 coloured photographs.

Volume III covers 58 families, 249 genera, 380 species, 2 subspecies, 18 variations, 6 hybrids and 59 cultivars, with 793 coloured photographs.
