Tricholomataceae. Funghi aspromontani comparati - II. 2026. 310 col. figs. 209 p.- In Italian.
This volume aims to provide mycology enthusiasts with an in-depth exploration of the vast field of the Tricholomataceae family, a variety that is widespread in Aspromonte. Although the subject matter is broad, the descriptive field, while focusing on the most common and typical species found in Aspromonte, includes many others: some are interesting because they are rarer, while others are similar or can be confused with more common species. For each mushroom, the author determines the genus in order to arrive at the section, subsection and species, indicating the corresponding degree of edibility. This is a useful tool for distinguishing between different taxonomic-systematic areas, thus avoiding the collection and erroneous consumption of species that could prove dangerous.
