Napo, situated in west Guangxi borders North Vietnam, is well knownby its dominating limestone and its rich floristics, such as Impatiens(9 spp.), Begonia (11 spp.), Orchids (41 gen., 90 spp.), andGeneriaceae (19 gen., 41 spp.). This checklist is based on theexamination of over seven thousand specimens. A total of 2472 speciesin 944 genera and 172 families are recognized and presented. Scientificand Chinese names, localities, ecology, frequency, elevation, examinedcollections for each species given. Introductory chapter deals withthe geographical outline of Napo.
