Deals with different aspects of benthic algal communities and/orseagrass communities of the reefs in the Spermonde Archipelago,Southwest Sulawesi, Indonesia. The aims of the project were testing theLittler & Littler model and answering the question if monitoringphotosynthetic organisms is a quick and cheap diagnosis of the state ofhealth of a reef. In order to achieve the aims a thorough taxonomicand floristic basis of the area was needed. An intensive, two-yearmonitoring programme was carried out, resulting in a large data set anda large collection of marine plants.- Second hand copy.
