The present work is a taxonomic revision of the remaining ten tribes ofthe Asteroideae. A total of 69 genera and 345 species are recognized,many of these with some infraspecific taxa including subspecies andvarieties. All taxa are fully described and illustrations for some 121species are given. Keys to tribes, genera and species are also included.In addition, ecological and distributional data are provided togetherwith taxonomic notes to assist in the correct identification of thetaxa. Vernacular names and information on the general distribution andthe usage of particular species are also provided.
